Tour of the house, May 2006

We are gradually making progress in the house. Below is a guided tour.

• The entrance hall leading up to the garden. I wasn't born with green fingers but I'm making a start.
• The landing complete with Noris' oar.
• The study with its bookshelves: ah, the joy of not having to lug books from room to room every weekend!
• The front room and dining room with Alex's candelabra.
• The downstairs bathroom complete with its nineteenth century pot. No pictures of the kitchen till we do the floor.
• Upstairs we have the bedrooms and second bathroom.
